Peoria Rivermen News Release
The Peoria Rivermen are excited to announce their first-ever "Carload Night" will take place Friday, January 24 when the Knoxville Ice Bears roll into Carver Arena for a 7:15 p.m. puck drop.
That evening, fans are encouraged to load up the crew and pack them in tight as an entire car comes to the game for just $40! All vehicles must be parked in one of two Peoria Civic Center lots - either the Marquee Lot near the main entrance, or the Fulton Lot behind the theater.
"We want to continue to make Rivermen hockey fun and affordable in the most unique ways possible," Rivermen co-owner Bart Rogers said. "Carload Night is another step in that direction. Bring the van and load it up when coming to the game!"
The $40 includes an upper bowl ticket for every individual in the vehicle. Tickets can be picked up at the Peoria Civic Center box office. Parking is a separate charge.
The Rivermen conclude a three-game road trip this Friday with a 7:05 p.m. puck drop against the Bloomington Thunder at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The game can be heard locally on CD Country 107.9 FM or online at www.cd1079.net . Fans can also follow along via the live video and audio stream at www.americaonesports.com .
