Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will be holding two special promotions on their upcoming homestand. Sunday, August 29 is the final Brewers Sunday of the 2010 season and there will be a live postgame auction for fans to bid on the game worn Brewers-themed jerseys. Thursday, September 2 is the Fans Choice Bobblehead giveaway of Timber Rattlers pitcher Jake Odorizzi. During each Sunday home game of the 2010 season, the Timber Rattlers wore uniforms based on those worn by the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers. The Rattlers will play the Kane County Cougars at 1:05pm on August 29 and wear those jerseys for the final time. After the game, there will be a live auction for the jerseys of all Timber Rattlers players and coaches. Fans may pick up their jerseys and have the player autograph the jersey immediately after their bid wins.

Proceeds from the jersey auction will go to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Earlier this season, timberrattlers.com asked Timber Rattlers fans to select the person to be immortalized in a bobblehead that would be given away on Thursday, September 2. The Fans' Choice was Timber Rattlers All-Star pitcher Jake Odorizzi. The first 1,000 fans to attend the game between the Rattlers and the Quad Cities River Bandits on September 2 will receive the bobblehead. Game time is 6:35pm. The gates into Time Warner Cable Field open at 5:00pm.

Fans should keep in mind that the Timber Rattlers policy for giveaways is one giveaway per person.

Wisconsin wraps up their regular season home schedule for 2010 with a homestand from August 28 through September 3. Tickets are available for the Jersey Auction, the Jake Odorizzi Bobblehead, and for the other five remaining home games and may be purchased one of three ways: On-line at www.timberrattlers.com, over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER, or in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office.
