LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced today that their radio home for the 2007-08 season will be Norteno 1490-AM, a BMP radio station. This is the third straight season the Bucks have been on 1490-AM. A complete Bucks radio history is listed below.
All 64 of the Bucks regular-season games, plus any additional post-season games can be heard live all-season long on Norteno 1490-AM (KLNT), as well as online at laredobucks.com courtesy of sportsjuice. Bucks Director of Media Relations/Broadcaster Bryan Benway will be behind the microphone in his first season as the "voice of the Bucks". Once again this season the Bucks will not broadcast any pre-season games.
"We have a very good relationship with BMP radio, and are looking forward working with them once again this season", Benway said. "Their organization is first class, and they treat us very well. We hope this partnership will last for many more years to come ".
All broadcasts will have a 15-minute pre-game show, which will feature "Behind the Bench" , a pre-game interview with Bucks head coach/GM Terry Ruskowski.
