
Lions Offering Special Ticket Price for Military this Weekend

Columbus, GA (April 22, 2015) - The Columbus Lions have a long history with military families in the community, and this weekend the team is looking to celebrate the sacrifices these families make every day. Saturday April 25th is Military Appreciation Night at the Columbus Lions game versus the Alabama Hammers. The Lions are offering $5 upper level tickets for military members and their families, and there is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy. Fans just need to go to the box office of the Columbus Civic Center and show their military ID to receive the discount. Tickets CAN be purchased in advance, or on game day. With more than 4000 fans filling the seats of the arena to cheer on the Lions, attendance at the game versus Nashville was staggering. We are expecting another large crowd, so get your tickets now! The doors will open at 5:30pm Saturday, and the gates will open at 6pm. Kickoff is at 7pm, with first place in the PIFL on the line so be ready to roar!
We are also still taking nominations for our USAA Soldier Salute. Winners are chosen each home game, and receive 4 VIP tickets to the game, VIP parking and pregame field access. Nominations can be submitted on our website, www.columbuslions.net under the community tab.
