NASHVILLE- The Professional Indoor Football League announced today that Nashville Venom WR Jordan Jolly is the recipient of their Week 5 Offensive Player of the Week.

Jolly, a second year player out of Navarro College, caught 10 passes for 220 yards and four touchdowns to help the Venom defeated the previously undefeated Columbus Lions 58-55. The award was the third time that Jolly was honored receiving recognition in Week 8 and Week 12 in 2014.

"I am honored to get this award but I couldn't have done it without my teammates. The big thing is we got the win. We want another championship so we are on a mission."

The Venom also had three players receiving honorable mention recognition. On offense, QB Charles McCullum threw for a Venom record 410 yards and eight TDs. On defense DB Jamie Graham (Whites Creek High School/Vanderbilt University) forced three turnovers. On special teams, kicker Christian Reed kicked the winning field goal from 18 yards as time expired.

The Venom will look for their first winning streak this season as they take on the Richmond Raiders at Municipal Auditorium. Game time is 7 p.m. It will be KBM Military Appreciation Night. All military personnel will get in free with a military ID. Fans can also get $2 off regular admission with canned food donations for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
