Lions Announce Half-Season, Free Kids' Ticket Packages

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus Lions of the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) announce a three-game ticket special for the remainder of their regular season home schedule. For as low as $30 for adults and $21 for children under 12 years of age, fans can stake their claim to a seat in "The Jungle" at the Columbus Civic Center for hard-hitting Lions football in three key matchups on consecutive Saturdays beginning May 31. All games kick off at 7 PM EDT.

On Saturday, May 31, the Lions take on the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks out of Bethlehem, Pa., finishing off their schedule of facing teams from the National Conference. It's Family Night in The Jungle as the Lions will honor participants in the team's Youth Indoor Football League and team posters and player cards will be given out to fans before the game.

The Alabama Hammers travel to Columbus on Saturday, June 7. Not only will the Lions be seeking to avenge their loss in Huntsville against the Hammers, but the legendary famous San Diego Chicken will be in the house to delight fans both young and old with his special brand of fun. Fans will be sure not to miss this special night as the Chicken makes his first-ever visit on the turf at the Civic Center.

The regular-season finale at home on Saturday, June 14 will surely be a good one both on and off the field. The conference rival Nashville Venom, currently holding the top spot in the American Conference, will face the Lions in what will likely be a pivotal game for playoff positioning. Off the field, the Lions will host Military Appreciation Night as nearby Fort Benning is well embedded in the fabric of the Columbus community. Free player cards will also be given out as well.

In addition to the half-season package available, the Lions offer a free single-game child's ticket (under 12 years old) with the purchase of an adult ticket. . The ticket is redeemable at the Columbus Civic Center box office. Single-game tickets are $13 for upper level and $18 for lower level for adults.
