The Columbus Lions organization is pleased to announce they have come to terms with wide receiver Chris Sanders-McCollum. Sanders-McCollum adds size and depth to the Lions wide receiving corp that is considered by many to be the most talented in the NAL.
Chris Sanders-McCollum (6'5, 225 - Tennessee State) comes to the Lions fresh off a stint with the NFL's Tennessee Titans, in which he was released during camp. Sanders-McCollum is a rookie to Arena Football but will look to contribute immediately in the NAL using his unique combination of size and speed. Sanders-McCollum comes to Columbus after a highly productive career at Tennessee State University. During his time with the Tigers, Sanders-McCollum appeared in 41 games and accumulated 1,017 yards on 56 receptions with 8 Touchdowns.
Sanders-McCollum is a native of the Peach State, as he attended Creekside High School in Fairburn, Georgia. Sanders-McCollum was a prep star at Creekside, earning his reputation as a 3-star prospect by ESPN after receiving MVP and captaincy honors in high school.
