
Lions Add Former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket

The Columbus Lions bolstered their defensive secondary with the signing of former Georgia Tech signee Lynn Griffin Jr. Griffin Jr., from Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, FL, was heavily recruited by Middle Tennessee State, Southern Miss and Georgia Tech. Once making his way to the Yellow Jackets, Griffin Jr. would see action in 25 games over four years compiling 22 tackles in his career. "Lynn is an all-around athlete, we are excited to see what he can do" said Lions head coach Jason Gibson. Griffin Jr. looks to help out a Columbus defense that finished middle of the pack in total defense last season (222.1 Yards/Game).
The Columbus Lions open the season Friday, April 17th at home against the defending NAL Champions the Jacksonville Sharks.
