Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - Nashville SC unveiled its matchday squad and Starting XI before its Wednesday night match against New York Red Bulls II starting at 7 p.m. at First Tennessee Park.
The Starting XI includes:
Keeper: Connor Sparrow
Defenders: Taylor Washington, Forrest Lasso, Jimmy Ockford and Kosuke Kimura
Midfielders: Ken Tribbett, Bolu Akinyode and Lebo Moloto
Forwards: Kharlton Belmar, Alan Winn and Daniel RÃos
The bench will include keeper Matt Pickens, defenders Justin Davis and Darnell King, midfielder Matt LaGrassa and forwards Tucker Hume, Ropapa Mensah and Cameron Lancaster.
A few notes about the Starting XI:
Keeper
Connor Sparrow starts in goal for the first time since July 6. It will be his ninth league start of the season
Defense
Jimmy Ockford makes his seventh start since joining Nashville SC on loan from MLS' San Jose Earthquakes
Forrest Lasso makes his sixth Nashville SC start after being acquired on loan from MLS' FC Cincinnati. He will serve as captain.
Taylor Washington makes his 17th start of the season
Kosuke Kimura returns to the starting lineup to make his 20th start of the season
Midfield
Bolu Akinyode returns to the starting lineup to make his 15th start of the season
Lebo Moloto makes his 22nd start of the season
Ken Tribbett makes his third consecutive start in the midfield
Forward
Daniel RÃos will make his 25th start of the season
Alan Winn makes his 11th start of the season
Kharlton Belmar makes his 19th start of the season
