The Charlotte Independence is hosting our annual Noche Latina on Saturday September 7th, with a pre-game Copa Fiesta Latina between champions of Charlotte and Durham Adult Latino Leagues.
Experience a night of Culture and Futbol
The Charlotte Independence professional soccer team is celebrating the many diverse Latino cultures in our community with Noche Latina presented by Wells Fargo on Saturday, September 7th at the Sportsplex at Matthews. Spice up your night out and enjoy $2 authentic Mexican tacos courtesy of Reys Tacos and Two Chix and a Truck, $3 Tecates, inflatable kid's entertainment and lawn games.
The night will be one to remember starting with a pre-game fiesta including a live DJ, Latin Flow Dance Company, El Mariachi Los Conquistadores courtesy of Takis and Salsa dancing lessons with Rumbao. Ahead of the Independence taking on the Tampa Bay Rowdies at 7:00 PM ET, the adult champions of the Fiesta Futbol League will be facing off against their Durham counterparts for the first annual Copa Fiesta Latina at 4:45 PM ET.
Come out representing your national soccer team, (USA, Mexico, etc) and the country with the most jerseys will be invited as guests of honor to our next home game. We will also be coming together as one to host a baby formula drive alongside the Alliance of Venezuelans in Charlotte to send aid to hungry babies during the nation's time of hardship.

4:35 p.m. - Autograph Session with Mexican player Ricardo Bocanegra
4:45 p.m. - Copa Fiesta Latina kickoff
6:15 p.m. - Pregame Dance Lessons via Rumbao at East Gate
6:45 p.m. - Mariachi Performance on Field
7:00 p.m. - Charlotte Independence vs Tampa Bay Rowdies Kickoff
7:55 p.m. - Halftime Copa Fiesta Latina Trophy Presentation
8:00 p.m. - Rumbao Latin Dance Perform
8:05 p.m. - Latin Flow Dance Perform
9:00 p.m. - "Fanatico de La Noche" Autographed Jersey Giveaway
9:15 p.m. - National Team Representation Winners Announced
