
Lineup Notes: Nashville SC vs. Charleston Battery

Nashville SC News Release
ST. PETERSBURG - Nashville SC's lineup for Saturday night's showdown with the Tampa Bay Rowdies is nearly the same as it was in last week's 2-1 victory over the Charleston Battery. The following players will be in Nashville's Starting XI for the 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff.
Nashville SC's Starting XI:
Keeper: Matt Pickens
Defenders: Taylor Washington, Ken Tribbett, Forrest Lasso, Bradley Bourgeois, Darnell King
Midfielders: Matt LaGrassa, Bolu AKinyode, Lebo Moloto
Forwards: Cameron Lancaster, Ropapa Mensah
The bench will include goalkeeper Connor Sparrow, defender Jimmy Ockford, Kosuke Kimura and Justin Davis and forwards Tucker Hume, Alan Winn and Kharlton Belmar
Starting XI Notes:
Keeper
Matt Pickens gets his 18th start of the season, and he'll be suiting up against his former team. Pickens played with the Rowdies from 2014-2017, appearing in 102 matches and totaling 28 clean sheets. He's also at 99 career shutouts and is just one away from reaching the major milestone of 100.
Defense
Forrest Lasso returns to the lineup after he sat out of last match. He was unable to play on Saturday, Aug. 24 because of a one match suspension following a red card on Wednesday, Aug. 21. He will serve as captain.
Ken Tribbett makes his 18th start of the season. As a defender, he's scored four goals already this season.
Bradley Bourgeois gets his second straight start and his 11th of the year.
Taylor Washington makes his 18th start of the season.
Darnell King makes his 12th start of the season and like Pickens, faces his former team. King overlapped with Pickens at Tampa Bay, playing for the team from 2015-2017. He made 81 appearances, scored one goal and had five assists for the club.
Midfield
Bolu Akinyode makes his 16th start of the season. He scored the winning goal in Nashville's most recent match against Charleston Battery on Aug. 24.
Lebo Moloto makes his 22nd start of the season.
Matt LaGrassa makes his 20th start of the season.
Attack
Cameron Lancaster makes his sixth start of the season.
Ropapa Mensah makes his eighth start of the season.
