
Lincoln Generals drop to 1-2 after Hutchinson Ball Hogs' shooting catches fire

(Billings, MT)-The Hutchinson Ball Hogs, behind Davin White's 34 points, handed the Lincoln Generals their second loss in AAPBL summer league action in Billings, Mont. Wednesday. "It's just tough to stop them when they're shooting is so hot. They were making three's with our guys jumping in their face," Generals coach Mark Berokoff said.
The Generals kept it close early in the game and trailed by only four after the first quarter. Hutchinson stretched their lead to 88-68 early in the fourth quarter. Lincoln battled back, but the Ball Hogs pulled away late on some short jumpers and cashed in on free throws. Aderick Hills led Lincoln with 14 points, going 6-for-13 from the field and nailing his only two free throw attempts.
"Hills is very athletic. He defends the ball well and just has really played well," Berokoff said.
He also registered three steals, a team-leading number. Kameron Gray grabbed six rebounds.
"We have 12 guys who are playing 18-20 minutes a game. I'm looking to give 12 guys an opportunity to make the team," Berokoff said.
