(Lincoln, NE) - The Lincoln Generals of the All American Professional Basketball League announced today the 2005 NBA Draft Party to take place downtown Tuesday, June 28th at BW3 Bar and Grill starting at 7:00 pm. The purpose of this "Draft Party" is to generate exposure for the Generals within the Lincoln community. According to Matt Starr, Vice President of Marketing and Sales of the team, "This is a great opportunity for us to advertise the team around the community. More importantly, however, our goal is to get the community acquainted with the name of the team, and hopefully generate more support around town." In the upcoming months we will be announcing dance team try-outs, national anthem try-outs and Free Kids Clinic.
Lincoln will open their inaugural season in November and will play 31 games at the Pershing Center Season tickets are on-sale starting at $372, with ten-game packs as low as $120.
