Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff slated for 7:30.
"We're hoping to get the biggest crowd this weekend against the Islander's," said Coyotes defensive coordinator Doug Murray. "We're going to go out this weekend and try and get a win for these fan's that have been supporting us all year long."
CENTRAL VALLEY COYOTES (1-14) vs. HAWAIIAN ISLANDERS (8-6)
The Central Valley Coyotes will square off against the Hawaiian Islanders for the final time of the season Saturday night. The Islanders have been playing with their back-up quarterback Shawn Withy-Allen these past few weeks as Darnell Arceneaux was on suspension and then injured. The Islanders have not made a decision yet on their starting quarterback for this weekend. Each quarterback brings a different style of play to the table
Hawaii's quarterback Shawn Withy-Allen has appeared in six games this season completing 68-of-103 passes for 901-yards, 5 interceptions and 14 TDs. The Islanders have a very deep receiving corps led by Anthony Arceneaux (62 rec., 1001 yds and 24 TDs), Nian Taylor (59 rec., 934 yds and 20 TDs) and Gabe Amey (26 rec., 390 yds and 5 TDs).
Hawaii's ground attack is headed up by Vai Notoa who has gained 54-yards and 4 TDs on 24 carries this season and Keiki Misipeka has carried the ball 16 times for 42-yards and 4 TDs.
Defensively the Islanders front three have tallied 12 sacks for a loss of 91-yards, while the secondary has amassed 18 interceptions for 205 yards and 60 pass deflections this season. Joshua Robinson leads all Islanders tacklers with 71 (59-solo).
Frank Borba started the game for the Coyotes last weekend in Bakersfield in place of Juston Wood who missed practice all week long for personal issues. Borba will more than likely get the nod at starting qb this weekend against the Islanders. Borba has completed 55-of-109 passes for 652 yards, 7 interceptions and 9 TDs. He will look to his leading receiver Kenyatte Morgan (100 rec., 1,266 and 23 TDs) to get things going offensively. The remainder of the receiving corps is rounded out by LaMonte Jones (65 rec., 774 yds and 15 TDs) and Marvin Brown (22 rec., 238 yds and 4 TDs).
Kevin Nelson will lead the ground game for the Coyotes, having gained 43 yards on 12 carries this season including, one touchdown.
On the defensive side of the ball, defensive specialist VonKeith Spencer leads the Coyotes in tackles (45.5), interceptions (6) and pass deflections (13). The Coyotes front three is led by veteran Al Noga, Nathan Frowsing and Dewayne Johnson.
