After a scoreless first half, for the fourth time this season in seven games, Lights FC was called a penalty kick against and Charleston took advantage of it by going ahead in the 59th minute with a goal from Augustine Williams, Sierra Leone National Team member.
The Lights' had an opportunity to level the score with a penalty kick of their own, but the shot from Eric "Cubo" Torres was brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Trey Muse, who obtained his third clean sheet of the season to defeat Las Vegas 1-0.
