Las Vegas Lights FC News Release
(Las Vegas, NV) - The Biggest Cinco de Mayo party in Las Vegas will be this Friday night at Cashman Field as part of Lights FC's home match (vs. Charleston; 7:30p kick-off) presented by Jarritos Mexican Cola. The festivities will include...:
Luchador Wrestling: A full-sized luchador wrestling ring will be set-up along the field for fans to enjoy both luchador wrestling & pro soccer simultaneously throughout the night! This first-ever, one-of-a-kind, unique combo sporting event has never before been done until now!
Special Concession Items: To further celebrate the Cinco de Mayo holiday, Cashman Field's concession stands will be selling food items such as tacos & esquite-style corn and beverages such as Jarritos, tequila drinks and Estella Jalisco Mexican beer.
Then, on Sunday afternoon, Lights FC plays again at Cashman Field for its "Family Day" (vs. San Antonio; 3p kick-off) featuring...:
Special 3pm Afternoon Kick-Off Time: Ideal for families with younger children!
All Fans Invited On-Field Post-Game For Autographs & Pictures: As we do every game, all fans welcome on-field for unique opportunities to take pictures, get player autographs or simply run around a professional soccer field. The only team in Vegas to allow it each home game!
Tickets for both matches may be purchased at LightsFC.com/Tickets.
This will be Lights FC first regular season home match in 2023 after completing a six-match road trip to start the season due to XFL Football's use of the stadium. Lights FC currently has only one loss in six matches and is led by former Mexican National Team Player & Ex-Major League Soccer Designated Player Erick "Cubo" Torres who continues to lead Lights FC's offensive attack.
