Lights FC played a game in the Eastern Time Zone for the first time in team history by visiting Charleston Battery.

After Charleston opened the score in the 8th minute with a penalty kick, Las Vegas leveled the score with "The Nightmare" Danny Trejo finding the back of the net during the first half's added time.

Trejo followed up by scoring his USL Championship league leading fifth goal of the season in the 56th minute, to give Las Vegas a 2-1 victory.

This was Lights FC's second consecutive win on the road after defeating El Paso 5-4 on March 23 and Charleston 2-1 tonight.

SCORING SUMMARY:

1-0 Charleston, Augustine Williams - 8th minute (Penalty Kick)

1-1 Las Vegas, Danny Trejo - 45+1 minute

2-1 Las Vegas, Danny Trejo - 56th minute

NEXT HOME MATCH:

On Saturday, April 9th Lights FC will team up with the UNLV Women's Soccer Team trying to break the all-time record for attendance in a women's match in the state of Nevada.

Lights FC will host Colorado Springs at 2 p.m. and the UNLV Rebels will take on the University of Arizona at 4:30 p.m. Fans will have access to watch both matches with the purchase of a ticket. Tickets are available at LightsFC.com/Tickets

NEXT MATCH:

Las Vegas will visit Tucson FC on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. in second round action of the U.S. Open Cup.
