
Lightning Struck Down by SkyHawks

(OTTAWA, Ontario) - Tonight at the Canadian Tire Centre, the London Lightning were defeated by the Ottawa SkyHawks, 104-99. This was a franchise-worst sixth straight loss for the Lightning.
"We have to find a way to defend the three-point shot. If we can't defend the three, we won't win," said General Manager Taylor Brown. "Fourteen threes is unacceptable."
Shooting guard Garrett Williamson led the Lightning in scoring with 17 points. Jermaine Johnson, Greg Surmacz, Maurice Bolden, Tony Bennett and Elvin Mims all scored in the double digits with Bolden and Mims also scoring double, doubles.
The Lightning play their next home game on Family Day, Monday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. against the Brampton A's.
The upper bowl will be open on Monday for the third time this season. Fans interested in attending Monday's game are encouraged to buy tickets quickly as the Lightning is expecting yet another record crowd.
