SYRACUSE, N.Y. - With the glow of 1,000 light swords illuminating the War Memorial Arena at Oncenter, the Syracuse Silver Knights bring back its popular Star Wars Night promotion for the club's home opener on Friday, Nov. 18.
The first 1,000 fans age 16 and younger will receive a complimentary light sword from the club. Fans can also expect a few famous Star Wars characters in attendance, including the infamous Darth Vader and beloved droid, R2D2.
In addition to the match, Silver Knights fans can witness a duel between sword experts who are skilled in the art of combat. All the action takes place this Friday, Nov. 18, in the War Memorial Arena at Oncenter. The Knights open their season versus the Harrisburg Heat.
