NEW YORK, NY - June 26, 2014 - The New York Liberty will take on the Chicago Sky at Madison Square Garden for Pride Night presented by Resorts World Casino New York City, which celebrates the LGBT community. The first 4,000 fans to the game, which takes place on Friday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m., will receive rainbow thundersticks. Tickets are still available by visiting nyliberty.com.

Pride Night is part of the larger WNBA Pride initiative rolled out in May. In all, WNBA Pride, presented by COVERGIRL, will feature nine WNBA games through the months of June and July. The WNBA Pride program celebrates inclusion and equality while combating anti-LGBT bias.

Information will also be shared on the league's social media channels where content will be aggregated with the hashtag #wnbapride.
