LHP Josh Taylor Added to Generals

Jackson, Tenn. - In coordination with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Jackson Generals announced the addition of pitcher Josh Taylor to their active roster, as of Saturday, May 12. In a separate roster move, Generals reliever Michael Dimock was promoted to Triple-A Reno. Taylor arrived from High-A Visalia, and his addition put Jackson's roster at 25 active players. Initially listed as number 23, Taylor's jersey number has since been changed to 28. Taylor was made active upon arrival. He has not yet pitched at Jackson this year.

25 years old; born 3/2/93 in Phoenix, Arizona

Height/Weight: 6'5", 225 lbs.

Acquired by Arizona in a July 2015 trade with the Philadelphia Phillies

2017: 34 games (14 starts) between Jackson and AZL D-backs - 4-7, 4.96 ERA, 98.0 IP, 92 K, 1.64 WHIP

2018: 14 games (0 starts) at High-A Visalia - 1-2, 5 saves, 2.81 ERA, 16.0 IP, 20 K, 1.31 WHIP
