LEXINGTON, Ky. - Coming off a bye week, the Lexington Horsemen look to clinch the season series against Rock River on Saturday when they play host to the Raptors. Kick-off in Rupp Arena is slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT and the game will be carried live on 101.5 FM The Planet and WVLK 590 AM with Randy Wilson.

The Horsemen (4-2) are coming off a 35-31 win against Rock River two weeks ago in Rockford, Ill. Quarterback Kewan Dewberry's 26-yard pass to receiver John Cooper with nine seconds remaining lifted the Horsemen over the Raptors. Lexington, which trailed 31-28 with 28 seconds left after a late touchdown by the Raptors, were backed up into a third-and-16 situation with time running out when Dewberry connected with Cooper for the game-winner.

Dewberry completed 17-of-26 passes for 182 yards with four touchdown strikes. Cooper and fellow wide receiver Chad Spencer each had two touchdown catches, as Spencer was the squad's leading receiver with five catches overall for 67 yards.

Lexington leads the league in three categories this season - kickoff returns, pass efficiency and third-down conversions - and is second in turnover margin. Dewberry directs the UIF's most efficient pass offense with a 125.1 quarterback rating. He has thrown for 1,004 yards with 22 touchdown passes. The Horsemen also are averaging a league-best 25.2 yards per kickoff return.

Wide receiver Harry Lewis is tied for second in the UIF in receiving yards per game this season with 82.2 yards per game and six touchdowns. Running back Rayshawn Askew has scored a team-high 11 touchdowns this season which puts him third in the league in scoring at 11.0 ppg.

The Horsemen and Raptors have developed quite a rivalry since the 2006 season. Rock River gave Lexington its only two regular-season blemishes last season before the Horsemen avenged those losses with a 47-34 win at home in the United Indoor Football semifinals to advance to United Bowl II.

Lexington leads the all-time series between the two franchises 4-2. The Raptors were located in Huntsville, Ala., and were known as the Tennessee Valley Raptors before moving to the suburban Chicago location prior to the 2006 campaign. The two teams conclude the season series on June 30 in Rockford, Ill.

Rock River (3-3) broke a two-game losing streak last week with a 50-25 victory against Ohio Valley in Rockford, Ill. Signal-caller Ben Sankey threw for five touchdowns and kicker Doug Daniel had three key field goals in the win.

Saturday's game will be televised on a tape-delay basis on PAX Cable Channel 22 in Lexington on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. EDT. Gary Ball and Dougie Allen will have the call.
