Mississauga St. Michael's Majors News Release
Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors and the MasterCard Memorial Cup Host Organizing Committee are pleased to announce that there are less then 300 tickets remaining for each game at the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup, with the exception of the game on Saturday, March 21, which is sold out. The tournament kicks off Friday night at Hershey Centre when the Majors take on the QMJHL Champions, the Saint John Sea Dogs.
Yesterday's game seven of the Rogers OHL Championship was a sold out event, as many last minute ticket buyers had to be turned away. To avoid this, fans should purchase their individual game tickets for the MasterCard Memorial Cup at ticketmaster.ca now, or by visiting the Hershey Centre box office. Individual game tickets start at just $45.00 plus tax.
"With the Saint John Sea Dogs, the number one ranked team in Canada, now confirmed as the QMJHL representative at the MasterCard Memorial Cup, we expect ticket demand to increase drastically," said Duncan Stauth, Vice-Chair of the MasterCard Memorial Cup Committee. "We hope fans don't wait until the last second to get tickets as this will be a fantastic tournament."
The organization is still offering their special weekday ticket package as well. Through this package, fans can get a ticket to the Championship game on Sunday, May 29 as well as a ticket to two weekday games for just $225.00, including taxes and fees. Fans can purchase this package by calling 905-502-7788 x. 1.
