Lepine Gets Called Up

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington PrairieThunder defenseman Jason Lepine has been called up to the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL for tonight's 7 o'clock game against the Texas Stars at the Peoria Civic Center.
This marks the third time the Cornwall, Ontario native has been called up by the Rivermen this season. He will return to the PrairieThunder for its International Hockey League game Wednesday against the Dayton Gems at 7:05 p.m. at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
Lepine ranks second in the IHL in scoring among defensemen with 37 points. He has seven goals and 27 assists, which also rank second among defensemen in the league. Lepine leads all defenders with 15 power play assists.
