The Monrovia, Liberia native helped the Comets earn back-to-back victories on the road last weekend when the team defeated the St. Louis Ambush 10-5 and the Wichita B-52's 11-4.
On Friday, Gibson was named Borden Man of the Match after his seven-point performance at the Family Arena where he scored a hat trick and had four assists.
Two days later, the forward added five more points to his name by scoring once and totaling four assists at Hartman Arena.
Currently, Gibson stands at the top of the MASL standings with a total of 73 points coming from 36 goals and 37 assists.
Despite recording 26 saves against the Ambush and being named Borden Man of the Match on Sunday with a total of 16 saves, Danny Waltman wasn't one of the two goalkeepers named to the Team of the Week.
The Gig Harbor, Washington native and longtime Comets fan favorite has won 16 matches this season, the most in the league. However, he has not earned Team of the Week honors this season.
Team captain Vahid Assadpour also received an honorable mention after playing an important role on head coach Vlatko Andonovski's team this week. Assadpour has earned Team of the Week honors three times this season.
The Toronto, Canada native recorded a total of seven points (four goals, three assists) against the Ambush and the B-52's.
The Missouri Comets are the only team that has not lost a single match throughout the regular season with a perfect record of 18-0 since longtime rivals Baltimore Blast lost twice this weekend on their visit to Las Vegas and San Diego.
Next up, the MASL Central Division Champions will host the Tulsa Revolution (2-14) this Saturday at the Independence Events Center.
