It's a long way off, but the NHL Central Scouting Service released its 2015 NHL Draft Futures List on Tuesday, headlining prospective top draft eligible talent for the upcoming season.

Bulls defenceman Justin Lemcke was one of 18 OHL skaters listed among North America's top prospects, a compilation that included the likes of Erie Otters phenom Connor McDavid and Ottawa 67's standout Travis Konecny.

Lemcke, a 6'2", 198Ibs. native of Whitby had 2 goals and 13 assists in 50 games as a rookie and represented Ontario in the 2014 World Under 17 Hockey Championships in Nova Scotia.

"The list is based on the body of work that we saw from the players during the 2013-14 season," NHL Central Scouting Director Dan Marr said. "Every year the scouts think that it's a good crop of prospects, there's just been a little more emphasis in 2015 because there's been a couple more top-end frontrunners."

Lemcke will hope to suit up in the 2015 CHL Top Prospects Game that will be hosted by the Niagara IceDogs in their new facility on January 22nd. The game will bring together the top 40 draft eligible prospects from across the Canadian Hockey League as they showcase their skills.

Lemcke was recently invited to the Canadian National Under-18 Team selection camp from August 2nd-5th in Calgary. The big blueliner hopes to earn a spot on Canada's squad that will represent the nation in the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in Slovakia and the Czech Republic beginning August 11th.
