Sioux Falls, S.D. - The Texas Legends defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce 86-82 Saturday night. Christian Eyenga made the go ahead 3-pointer with 1:04 to help Texas win their fifth straight contest.

Both teams struggled from the field in the first half as Sioux Falls shot 37.0 percent (17-of-46) and Texas shot 33.3 percent (16-of-48). Sioux Falls led 43-42 at halftime.

Chris Roberts scored 14 points in the third quarter to give Texas (5-2) an eight-point lead (67-59) heading into the final quarter. Sioux Falls (5-1) battled back and took a 74-72 lead following a Mark Tyndale 3-pointer with just over five minutes to go in the contest. Sioux Falls led by five points (82-77) with 1:34 to go but back-to-back 3-pointers by Chris Douglas-Roberts and Eyenga gave Texas a lead they would not relinquish.

Roberts led all scorers with 26 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Solomon Bozeman scored 19 points while Eyenga posted a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds) off the bench.

Tyndale recorded season-highs in points (19) and rebounds (15) off the bench. Demetris Nichols added 15 points and Jarvis Varnado tallied 11 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in defeat.

Sioux Falls hosts Austin Friday night at 7 p.m. CT. Texas returns home to face Rio Grande Valley Saturday night at 7 p.m. CT.
