Port Huron Flags News Release

Port Huron, MI-The Port Huron Flags, the community owned, nonprofit member club of The United Hockey League (UHL) announced today that a three year lease agreement was made with McMorran Arena.

Flags' Chairman of the Board Charlie Barrett is confident the agreement is a win for the community, the team and McMorran; support from the community will ensure the success of the team which will increase revenue for McMorran.

"I'm very excited," said Barrett, "we've been working on it for a few months and it's great to see such a successful outcome. It's a ‘win-win-win' situation."

With typical contracts of the past lasting only two years, the agreement reached today proves encouraging for hockey fans in Port Huron.
