Lazo to Disabled List / Ravago joins Jacksonville

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium.

Left-handed relief pitcher Raudel Lazo was placed on the disabled list with a left elbow strain. Lazo was 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA after five scoreless appearances.

In a corresponding move, right-handed reliever Robert Ravago has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. With the Hammerheads Ravago had no wins or losses in two scoreless appearances. Ravago was selected by the Marlins in the 22nd round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft out of Arizona State University.

The Suns roster remains at 25, and a revised roster is attached.

Jacksonville will play its fifth and final game of a five game series against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos tonight at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. Right-hander Sam Dyson (0-1, 0.96 ERA) will start for the Suns against Pensacola southpaw Ryan Dennick (1-0, 2.45 ERA).

The contest begins at 8:00 p.m. ET, and fans can listen to the game on the Suns Baseball Network on WSOS-FM 94.1 and www.jaxsuns.com with coverage beginning with the UF & Shands Suns Pregame Show at 7:45 p.m. ET.
