PITTSBURGH, March 3, 2007 - Seven players scored in double-figures for Pittsburgh (5-33), which erased a seven-point deficit in the final minutes, but Albany (23-14) shot 10-10 from the free throw line down the stretch to record a 107-100 victory in Continental Basketball Association action at Mellon Arena. Corey Minifield paced the Xplosion with 28 points and 11 rebounds.

A big third quarter effort, which saw the Black and Gold win the frame 33-28, gave the Black and Gold a two point lead after three quarters. Albany, however, knotted the game on the opening bucket of the fourth quarter and eventually pushed out to a seven-point lead, 95-88.

Pittburgh then used a 7-0 run to tie the game at 95-95. Albany responded to the Xplosion run by connecting on six consecutive free throws to create a buffer.
