San Angelo Bandits News Release


With training camp quickly approaching (March 1st) for the San Angelo Bandits, Coach Joe Brannen has announced that his team will be hosting their second open tryout for the offseason in hopes of rounding out their training camp roster. The workout will take place at Lake View Stadium beside Foster Communications Coliseum.

"We have a couple of open spots on our roster that we plan to fill before we open camp March 1. My coaching staff and I are excited to get out on the field with some guys in hopes of finding a few athletes that can help us complete our roster." Brannen commented. "These open tryouts serve as a big part of our recruiting efforts, allowing us to find some talent that we may have otherwise overlooked in our various recruiting methods."

What: San Angelo Bandits Player Tryouts

When: Saturday, Feb. 1. Registration begins at 11:00 A.M., Workout Starts at Noon.

Where: Lake View Stadium. 50 E. 43rd St. San Angelo, TX

Cost: $40.00 Pre-Register by Jan. 31, $50.00 Cost the day of the tryout.

Notes: Tryouts will take place on grass surface.
