DOHA, QATAR - Jackie Young scored a game-high 9 points, Wednesday, in USA Basketball's 3x3 quarterfinal meeting vs. Brazil at the World Beach Games, but it wasn't enough as the U.S. dropped a 14-12 decision, ending its run at a gold medal.
Young made 7 of 11 shots on the day, but her teammates combined to go just 3 for 18. The U.S. also missed all five of its shots from beyond the arc.
