Landry and Nagle Join Admirals from ECHL's Kelly Cup Champions

NORFOLK, Va. - The Tampa Bay Lightning, NHL parent club of the Norfolk Admirals, have reassigned defenseman Charles Landry and goaltender Pat Nagle to the Admirals from the ECHL's Florida Everblades, Lightning General Manager Steve Yzerman announced today.

Both Landry and Nagle join the Admirals during the Calder Cup Finals one week after winning the ECHL's Kelly Cup Championship with the Everblades - Norfolk's ECHL affiliate. Florida won the Kelly Cup on May 23rd after defeating the Las Vegas Wranglers in five games during the Kelly Cup Finals.

Landry, 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, appeared in 23 regular season games for the Admirals in 2011-12, registering six assists with an even plus/minus rating. The 20-year-old professional rookie also appeared in 36 regular season games with the Everblades, recording two goals and nine points with a plus-6 rating. In Florida's Kelly Cup run, Landry posted one goal and three points in 11 playoff games with a plus-7 rating.

Landry played 234 career junior games from 2007-10 between the Montreal Juniors and Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Qu�bec Major Junior Hockey League, registering 22 goals and 96 points. He also skated in 43 post-season games, amassing six goals and 12 points.

Originally undrafted, Landry was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract by the Lightning on September 15, 2010. He made his professional debut with Norfolk during the 2011 Calder Cup Playoffs, appearing in one game for the Admirals while on an Amateur Tryout Contract.

Nagle, 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, served seven games as Norfolk's backup goaltender during the 2011-12 regular season without seeing any game action. He also appeared in 39 games with the Everblades during the regular season, posting a 20-14-0-3 record with one shutout, a 2.87 goals-against average and .905 save percentage. In Florida's Kelly Cup run, the professional rookie went 4-1 with two shutouts, a 1.42 GAA and .941 SV% in six playoff games.

A 24-year-old native of Bloomfield, Michigan, Nagle played in 101 career games with the Ferris State (Mich.) Bulldogs from 2007-10. During that time, he recorded a 2.32 GAA and a .916 save percentage with a 45-42-11 record with five shutouts. Nagle was named to the All-CCHA First Team in 2010-11 and was named a Hobey Baker Memorial Award candidate. He received CCHA Preseason Second-Team honors and was also selected to Inside College Hockey.com's First-Half All-CCHA Team.

The Admirals open the 2012 Calder Cup Finals on Friday night at Norfolk Scope Arena, as they begin the best-of-seven championship series against the Toronto Marlies. The puck drops in Game 1 at 7:30 p.m. Game 2 is Saturday night at Scope at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets for Game 1 and Game 2 are now on sale through Ticketmaster online or by telephone. You can charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 or go online to ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available at the Scope Box Office during regular business hours. The Scope Box Office is open from 10:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. through game time on game days.

Individual ticket prices for Calder Cup Finals games at Scope are $25.50 for Gold Level, $22.50 for Red Level and $20.50 for White Level. Fans receive a discount when purchasing tickets in advance of the day of the game, with $22 Gold tickets, $19 Red tickets and $17 White tickets. In addition, a limited number of 10-seat corporate boxes are available for $350 per game by contacting the Admirals at (757) 640-1212.

Playoff package holders should use tickets labeled "Game L" for the game on Friday, June 1st, and should use tickets labeled "Game M" for the game on Saturday, June 2nd.
