RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers will begin their quest to claim the organization's eighth Clark Cup Championship, the most of any team in the United States Hockey League's Clark Cup era, with a pair of home games in the 2014 Western Conference Semi-Finals on Saturday, April 12th at 7:05 pm and Sunday April 13th at 5:05 pm at Ralston Arena, the team announced Monday. "We are thrilled to start our playoff campaign on home ice at Ralston Arena," said Lancers Head Coach and General Manager Bri an Kaufman on Monday. "Thanks to our fans, we believe we've got one of the best game-night atmospheres in the league and we're excited to play games one and two at home."
Single-game playoff tickets go on sale to the general public at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 1st, the team announced Monday, and are available via phone at 402-344-7825, extension 1, online at www.lancers.com and in-person at the Ralston Arena box office, just inside the southeast entrance to the Arena, located at 7300 Q Street in Ralston with Lancers players and staff on hand to greet fans from 11:00 to noon on Tuesday.
Next up for the Lancers, it's the final weekend of the 2013-14 USHL regular season as Omaha caps their season-ending six-game road trip with a Friday clash at Scheels Arena in Fargo, North Dakota vs. the Fargo Force prior to the season's final game, set for a 7:05 pm puck drop on Saturday vs. the Sioux Falls Stampede at Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Full coverage of this w eekend's games begins with the "Valpak Pregame Show" at 6:50 pm both nights on the Lancers' flagship station, "The Mighty" 1290 KOIL with Lancers broadcaster Tony Brown providing the play-by-play.
