TAMPA - For his effort on one of the most exciting goals in Nashville SC history, forward Cameron Lancaster was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week bench for Week 15. Lancaster's goal from outside the box gave Nashville a thrilling 3-2 win over Hartford Athletic on Sunday.

It is the first Team of the Week honor for the Englishman this season as Lancaster becomes the seventh different Nashville player to be named to a Team of the Week this season. He took four shots in his limited minutes, all finding the target, including his final one that went in.

Lancaster has scored a goal in each of his last four appearances dating back to the team's 5-1 win over Swope Park Rangers on May 11. He added to his tally with a goal in Nashville SC's U.S. Open Cup match against Tormenta FC 2 on May 14, a 3-2 win. After a training injury sidelined Lancaster for nearly a month, he made his return as a substitute on June 9 against Bethlehem Steel, finding the net in his 24-minute substitute appearance. Finally, Lancaster scored the winner on Sunday in a 22-minute appearance as a sub.

Lancaster has not earned a start in the USL Championship since the second weekend of the season when Nashville SC fell to Saint Louis FC on March 17. He will have his chance to earn his next start on Saturday at home when Nashville takes on Ottawa Fury FC at First Tennessee Park.
