SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC is recognizing the dedicated work of local coaches by offering youth sports team coaches in the Sacramento Region a complimentary ticket to a Republic FC league home match this season. Coaches can redeem their complimentary ticket by visiting SacRepublicFC.com/thanks-coaches.
"'Thank You Coaches' is an opportunity to show our gratitude to local coaches for the critical mentorship they provide on a daily basis," said Ben Gumpert, Republic FC President & COO. "We know firsthand how important having a strong positive role model is in youth development and the impact that coaches make in our community. We are investing in programs to empower and enable more great coaches so that kids in every corner of our region can have an opportunity to build lifelong skills through playing sports."
"Thank You Coaches" adds to Republic FC's community programs that aim to expand coaching opportunities in the region. The club is also hosting an all-women's coaching clinic on July 25. More details will be announced at a later date via SacRepublicFC.com/watchmelead.
Republic FC's next home match is on Saturday, June 22, as the club takes on Tulsa Roughnecks FC. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. at Papa Murphy's Park in Cal Expo.
