Lake Monsters Workout At Centennial Field This Weekend

The Vermont Lake Monsters will hold their first practice at historic Centennial Field on Saturday, June 14th in preparation for the 2008 season which begins on Tuesday night.

The Lake Monsters will take the field at Centennial for the first time on Saturday morning around 11:00 am and practice until around 3:00 pm. The team will workout at Centennial on Sunday afternoon from 12-4, then hold their final practice on Monday evening beginning around 7:00 pm.

Vermont hosts the Oneonta Tigers in the season opener Tuesday at 7:05 pm.

LAKE MONSTERS FRONT OFFICE MOVES TO WATERFRONT

The Lake Monsters have moved. But don't worry baseball fans. It's not the team, just the front office.

The Vermont Lake Monsters front office has moved from the Champlain Mill in Winooski to the King Street Ferry Dock on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington.

The new offices, which will include a new merchandise store, can be found in the building just to the right of the Lake Champlain Transportation Ferry ticket booth at the top of the King Street Ferry Dock.

The Lake Monsters front office phone number (802-655-4200) has not changed, while the fax number (802-655-5660) also remains the same. Office hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday.
