Lake Elsinore Storm News Release
LAKE ELSINORE, CA- The Lake Elsinore Storm, Single-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, are proud to announce that Grateful Dead Night, presented by DeVry University, has sold out. The game scheduled for Friday, May 8 at 7:05pm, will be the fourth sellout in just 11 openings. For all you true hippies out there, there is no need to worry because general-admission grass seating on "Deadhead Hill" are still on sale for just six dollars.
Storm players will be wearing special edition tie-dye jerseys while music and in-game skits will be themed toward the legendary rock band. A "dress like a hippie" contest will be taking place throughout the game. The fan that looks most like they are living in the '60's will win a free post-game shower.
Stay around for post-game fireworks and a special performance by the Electric Wasteband, a Grateful Dead cover band, on the Tiki Terrace. The concert is included with your ticket.
