Lacrosse Stars Found Next Level Lacrosse Academy

The next wave of professional lacrosse superstars has developed an academy to create future generations of Canadian lacrosse players. Next Level Lacrosse Academy, sponsored by Team 22, was founded to provide a high-intensity training camp to refine skills and educate players on what it takes to excel at the NCAA level.
"Our program spawned from our love of the game and our unique journeys from high school and prep school to NCAA lacrosse at the Division I level," said Director Adam Gardner. "Our training camps are for the elite player who has already committed to an NCAA program or has aspirations to play NCAA lacrosse."
Next Level Lacrosse Academy will offer two camps this summer in Scarborough, Ontario. With the backing of Team 22, the first Next Level Lacrosse Academy is set for Friday, June 28th at L'amoreaux Sports Complex Field 5, which is located at Mary Ward High School (3200 Kennedy Rd at McNicoll). The second Next Level Lacrosse Academy is set for Wednesday, July 17th to Thursday, July 18th at the L'amoreaux Sports Complex Field. The cost is $160 per day.
Gardner, Assistant Director Reid Acton and an impressive list of current Major League Lacrosse players, as well as past NCAA instructors lead the Next Level Lacrosse Training Camp, which was designed to put the players through a full Division I practice used by national champion programs like Loyola and Syracuse. Players are grouped by positions and worked in small groups to refine skills related to their positions.
Other instructors include former Syracuse goalie John Galloway, who is currently an assistant coach Providence College and plays for MLL's Rochester Rattlers. He will be joined by Stephen Keogh (Syracuse) of the Rochester Knighthawks and Hamilton Nationals, Jordan MacIntosh (RIT) of the Minnesota Swarm and Rochester Rattlers, and Cameron Flint (Denver) of the Boston Cannons. Jason Noble of Cornell University and the Hamilton Nationals, and Dillon Ward of Bellarmine University and the Hamilton Nationals will serve as instructors as well.
"We will focus on the dedicated and passionate lacrosse player and work with those players to create a unique, unparalleled program built to create well-rounded players," said Gardner. "We have worked in numerous clinics, camps, and roles in both Canada and the United States. We have created what we feel is a truly one of a kind experience, staffed with some of Canada's most successful NCAA players in recent years."
Next Level is an invite/application acceptance-only program that caters to the top high school lacrosse players in Canada. Next Level will draw from all regions of the country to select the top 55 players at the high school level. This is not a recruiting event. Applicants will receive confirmation of their acceptance within 48 hours with a registration link.
The daily schedule runs from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and includes an NCAA style practice, a one-hour chalk talk, a lacrosse philosophy and a theory seminar, positional individual sessions, scrimmage game, dry land and agility training, and ends with individual player meetings.
Team 22 is owned by Curt Styres, Knighthawks VP of Lacrosse Paul Gait and Knighthawks President Lewis Staats.
