LA Wildcats Unveil Inaugural Schedule

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Wildcats are ready to roar into February 2020 as the team officially announced its XFL schedule.

The LA Wildcats, one of four teams in the XFL West Division, will play a 10-week regular season with five home games at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif.. The Wildcats will open their season on the road, Saturday, Feb. 8, when the team travels to face the Houston Roughnecks at TDECU Stadium. The game will air on FOX at 2:00 p.m. PT.

At 10:00 a.m. PT on Thursday (Oct. 24), football fans can purchase Wildcats season tickets and single-game tickets at XFL.com/tickets. Lower level season tickets start at $20 per game. Wildcats season ticket packages range from $100 to $425. Lower level single-game tickets start at $24 per game.

The LA Wildcats, led on the field by Head Coach and General Manager Winston Moss, will follow up the season opener with back-to-back home games. The home opener will take place on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 12:00 p.m. PT on ABC against Bob Stoops' Dallas Renegades. On Sunday, Feb. 23, the Wildcats will host the DC Defenders for a 3:00 p.m. PT game on FS1 for the Week 3 matchup.

"With our schedule announcement, a roster of players, and tickets going on sale, we are significantly closer to the Wildcats kicking off in 2020, ‚¬Â said Heather Brooks Karatz, President of the LA Wildcats. "Our home game schedule is family-friendly and ideal for community engagement and tailgate activities. We look forward to hosting our XFL rivals at Dignity Health Sports Park and can't wait to see our fans develop new rituals and traditions for the LA Wildcats."

The Wildcats will head to MetLife Stadium in Week 4 to face the New York Guardians on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 2:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

The Wildcats' remaining schedule includes home games versus Tampa Bay, Houston and Seattle with road trips to Seattle, St. Louis and Dallas. National audiences will see the Wildcats appear three times each on both FOX and ABC during the season.

The eight-team league is divided into two four-team divisions, East and West. The XFL East features the DC Defenders, New York Guardians, St. Louis BattleHawks and Tampa Bay Vipers. The Dallas Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, Los Angeles Wildcats and Seattle Dragons comprise the XFL West.

Each XFL team will host five home games and will play a schedule that features a home-and-home series against division rivals and one game against each team in the other division.

Every XFL game will air live on national television, including 25 games broadcast on ABC and FOX. In the regular season, four games are scheduled each week, typically with two back-to-back games on both Saturdays and Sundays. The XFL schedule also features two primetime Thursday night games in the final weeks of the regular season.

Following the regular season, the top two teams in each division will square off for the right to play for the league championship on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. ET (ESPN). The East Final is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 (3 p.m. ET, FOX), and the West Final will be held Sunday, April 19 (3:00 p.m. ET, ESPN). The first-place team in each division will host its respective division final.
