LOS ANGELES - Following a 4-3 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes before a sell-out crowd of 25,335 fans at Dignity Health Sports Park this past Sunday, April 21, the LA Galaxy square off against Austin FC at Q2 Stadium today, Saturday, April 27 (10:55 a.m. PT; Free on MLS Season Pass, FOX and FOX Deportes).
Today's match marks the seventh MLS regular-season meeting between the Galaxy and Austin, with LA leading the all-time series 4-1-1. In two matches played between LA and Austin during the 2023 campaign, the Galaxy held an unbeaten record of 1-0-1 (5 GF, 2 GA). Notably, the Galaxy are unbeaten in their last four regular-season matches played against Austin FC (3-0-1; 10 GF, 4 GA) dating back to May 8, 2022. In five career regular-season appearances (1 start) against Austin, Dejan Joveljić has recorded three goals and three assists. Additionally, Riqui Puig has registered three goal contributions (2 goals, 1 assist) in two career starts against Austin FC.
