
LA Galaxy II Ready to Face Arizona United SC Thursday at StubHub Center

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, April 1, 2015) - LA Galaxy II (0-1-1) will play their third match of the 2015 USL season this Thursday, April 2 against Arizona United SC (1-0-0) at StubHub Center's Track & Field Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT and the match will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com with Time Warner Cable Sports Commentator Joe Tutino calling the action.
Thursday's match will feature $2 tacos from Chancho's Tacos, $2 beer, free parking for all fans and free admission for ages fans 12 and younger. Additionally, select LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members receive Season Ticket Membership to LA Galaxy II.
Led by head coach Curt Onalfo, Los Dos will seek their first win of the year following an 0-1-1 start to the season. The Galaxy last played on Saturday when they fell 3-2 to Sacramento Republic FC behind a last second goal from the visitors. Forward Travis Bowen and captain Daniel Steres both tallied for Los Dos.
Under the direction of head coach Michael Dellorusso, Arizona United SC has started the season 1-0-0 after earning a 2-1 victory over the Orange County Blues in Southern California.
The match marks the first of three matches between the Galaxy and United SC during the 2015 USL Season. In the next head-to-head contest, the Galaxy will again host Arizona at StubHub Center on Sunday, Aug. 9 as part of a double header with the LA Galaxy, who face Seattle Sounders FC earlier in the day.
Los Dos feature a total of 11 players from the club's inaugural 2014 season in USL, as Andre Auras (MF), Kainoa Bailey (FW), Jason Bli (DF), Travis Bowen (FW), Alejandro Covarrubias (MF), Bradley Diallo (DF), Joe Franco (DF), Lee Nishanian (DF), Nicholas Shackelford (GK), Daniel Steres (DF) and Jaime Villarreal (MF) are representing Los Dos for their second-straight season. Outside of the 11 returning Galaxy II players, Los Dos added seven new players to its USL roster following the 2014 USL season, as Adonis Amaya (FW), Clement Diop (GK), Ryo Fujii (MF), Ariel Lassiter (FW), Eric Lopez (GK), Elijah Martin (MF) and Dave Romney (DF) round out the team's first-year players who were signed this offseason.
Galaxy II will play 14 USL Regular Season games at home during the 2015 campaign. A complete LA Galaxy II 2015 schedule can be found here. All LA Galaxy II matches will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com with the majority of home matches broadcast by Time Warner Cable lead announcer Joe Tutino along with Ralph Perez.
