LA Galaxy II Host Orange County Blues FC on Friday

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, June 18, 2015) - LA Galaxy II (7-5-1, 22 points) will return home to host a match Friday at StubHub Center's Track & Field Stadium against Orange County Blues FC beginning at 7:30 p.m. PT. The match will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com and called by Joe Tutino and Ralph Perez.

The match Friday night will feature free parking, $2 tacos from Chancho's Tacos and $2 beer with fans ages 12 and under receiving free entry. Select LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members also receive free entry to the match.

The match will mark the second time the Galaxy have faced Orange County Blues FC this season, with the first win coming earlier this month on the road as Raul Mendiola and Kainoa Bailey both scored to give Los Dos a 2-1 victory.

Led by head coach Oliver Wyss, Orange County Blues are currently 5-4-1 for 16 points and are led by Christofer Ramirez with five goals and one assist on the year. Orange County's last match came against Galaxy II when they hosted Los Dos on June 6.

LA Galaxy II earned a 2-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 Sunday afternoon at Thunderbird Stadium UCB in Vancouver behind goals from Travis Bowen and Ariel Lassiter. Galaxy II are now tied for third place in the USL Regular Season Western Conference standings. Ariel Lassiter continues to lead Galaxy II with five goals on the year, while Raul Mendiola continues to lead USL with seven assists while also recording three goals.

Sunday's game will mark the first home match after three-straight road games for Los Dos. They earned six points from the three-game road stretch and have won seven of their last nine games.
