LA Galaxy II Face Real Monarchs SLC Saturday in Road Contest

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, April 24, 2015) - LA Galaxy II (1-3-1, 4 points) travel to Rio Tinto Stadium for a match Saturday, April 25 against Real Monarchs SLC (0-3-2, 2 points) with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. PT. The game will be streamed live on www.lagalaxy.com.

Led by head coach Curt Onalfo, Los Dos will seek their first win of the year following an 0-3-1 start to the season. Galaxy II earned their first win of the year this Sunday with a 2-1 victory over Austin Aztex behind goals from Raul Mendiola and Ariel Lassiter. Mendiola also notched his fourth assist of the season, good enough to lead USL, while Lassiter now leads Los Dos with two goals on the year.

Under the direction of head coach Freddy Juarez, Real Monarchs will seek their first win of the year following a 0-3-2 start. The 2015 expansion side has scored four goals in their five games.

Saturday's matchup will mark the second and final time Los Dos will face Real Monarchs this season. In their first matchup of the year, Los Dos and Real Monarchs played to a scoreless draw at StubHub Center in the opening match of the 2015 USL Season.
