LA Galaxy Begin Community-Based Tour in Ecuador

A day removed from a Championship Rally at Hermosa Beach and two days removed from winning a MLS record fifth MLS Cup, the Galaxy traveled to Quito, Ecuador for a postseason tour with Herbalife, the club's longtime nutrition partner.

On Wednesday, the #GalaxyTour began in earnest as Club President Chris Klein, players Landon Donovan, Omar Gonzalez, AJ DeLaGarza, Gyasi Zardes, Marcelo Sarvas, Juninho, Jaime Penedo and Leonardo met with local media and presented a check to Foundacion Sinsoluka on behalf of the Herbalife Family Foundation and the LA Galaxy Foundation. (or Herbalife Family & LA Galaxy Foundations) - not sure the proper way to phrase

Following the press junket, players mingled with local Herbalife representatives on a Chiva bus tour of Quito, before settling down for lunch at the Hotel Andaluz in Quito's historic district.

In the afternoon, Galaxy Sports Scientist Alex Savva conducted a Sports Science Symposium at the Dann Carlton Hotel for the Ecuardo Ejercitate and Herbalife.

The day came to a close with a cocktail and dinner reception at Pims Restaurant in Panecillo overlooking all of Quito.
