Kyle Roller Named FSL Player of the Week

Tampa, Fla. - The Florida State League announced today that they have selected Tampa Yankees infielder, Kyle Roller, as Player of the week for the period August 6 - August 12, 2012. During this time, he played in six games and collected six hits in 16 plate appearances. His hits included two triples and three homeruns. He had 10 RBI's and scored six times. His batting average was .375, his OBP was .444 and his slugging average was 1.188.
Roller was selected by the New York Yankees in the 8th round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft out of East Carolina University. Kyle is in his third year of professional baseball and he resides in Rockingham, NC.
