
Kyle Olson Ties Game with One Second Remaining, Ams Fall to Chiefs in Overtime

The Tri-City Americans fall short 5-4 to the Spokane Chief in overtime tonight.
The Chiefs took over the first period 2-0.
That didn't stop AMS Nolan Yaremko and Krytof Hrabik. They both respond with a goal each to tie things up in the second period.
The Chiefs, Nolan Reid and Michael King score 13 minutes into the third for the 4-2 lead.
The Americans pushed through and Riley Sawchuck landed the power play goal at 18:43. Kyle Olson pumped up the crowd and tied the game up once again with only a second remaining.
Chiefs, Jaret Anderson-Dolan lands the game-winning overtime goal.
Tonight's overtime point secures the Americans a spot in the 2019 WHL Playoffs.

Final score: 5-4 AMS
The AMS will hit the road and face the Seattle Thunderbirds tomorrow at Kent at 7:05.
