Hitmen Take Saturday Night Battle against ICE

Cranbrook, B.C. - James Malm recorded a hat trick as the Calgary Hitmen downed the Kootenay ICE 5-2 at Western Financial Place on Saturday night.

While Malm scored the first three goals for his team, Mark Kastelic and Josh Prokop added the others later in the game. Goaltender Jack McNaughton stopped 24-of-26 shots for the victory.

The ICE received goals from Marco Creta and Brad Ginnell. For Creta, the goal was his first as a member of the ICE. Goaltender Curtis Meger blocked 26-of-31 shots.
