Kurtiss Riggs Show Tonight; Mini Golf Friday

The Kurtiss Riggs Show will return to Gateway Lounge for tonight's LIVE broadcast of the program. The show is broadcast LIVE every Wednesday before home games from Gateway Lounge, which is located just off of 41st St. behind Carmike Theatre. The program is LIVE from 5:30-6:45 PM and airs on AM 1230 KWSN and on www.kwsn.com. This week's guests will be defensive lineman Alvin Robinson and UIF Operations Director and Lightning Girls Director Tatum Keller.

Storm Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs and "The Voice of the Storm" Rich Roste will review last Saturday's 50-25 victory over the Sioux City Bandits. The win was the Storm's 30th in a row and eighth in a row over the Bandits. Riggs and Roste will also preview this Saturday's game vs. the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. With a win, the Storm will clinch the #1 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.

Robinson is a rookie out of North Dakota State. He has played in six games this season and compiled 8.5 tackles. Robinson started his collegiate career at Pearl River Community College in Mississippi before transferring to North Dakota State for his final two years of eligibility. Robinson started 11 games for the Bison in 2004 recording 47 tackles and 2.5 sacks on the year. His performance earned him honorable mention honors on the All-GWFC team. During the 2005 season Robinson again started all 11 games and compiled 42 tackles. Robinson's work earned him All-GWFC Second Team honors.

Keller has worked in the UIF Front Office for three years, this being her first as Director of Operations. Keller has been the Director of the Lightning Girls since 2003. The Lightning Girls were named the UIF's Dance Team of the Year following the 2006 season.

The Storm would also like to remind fans about the Mini Golf Tournament benefiting Special Olympics South Dakota. The tournament will take place at Ultimate Golf Academy in Sioux Falls at 7 PM on Friday. The cost is $10 per person which includes 19 holes of golf and food and beverage. Fans should call the Sioux Falls Storm office at 332-4225 to register for the event.

The Storm will host the Ohio Valley Greyhounds this Saturday at 7:05 PM. This will be the Greyhounds first visit to the "Storm Shelter" in their seven years of existence. The game theme will be "Guys Night Out" and is presented by Billion Toyota.
