"Kurtiss Riggs Show" to Celebrate Father's Day

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announce that the Week 13 edition of "The Kurtiss Riggs Show" will be broadcast live from Nutty's on Wednesday night starting at 5:45 PM. Nutty's is located at 3400 W. 49th St. in Sioux Falls. Storm fans are invited to be in the live audience and enjoy drink specials throughout the show.

The show will air from 5:45 PM-6:45 PM on AM 1230 KWSN. Storm Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs and "The Voice of the Storm" Rich Roste will review Saturday night's 71-0 victory over the Peoria Rough Riders. The victory set a UIF record for most consecutive victories as the Storm moved their record to 11-0. Riggs and Roste will also analyze this Saturday's battle with I-29 rival Sioux City. Sioux City is 5-6 on the season.

Also joining the program will be Storm fan and father, Roger Preheim. Roger and Rich will celebrate Father's Day on the show as well as discuss the Storm season. Storm offensive lineman John Semchenko and strong safety Justin Landis will also make an appearance on the show. Semchenko is part of an offensive line that has only give up six sacks on the season, which is lowest in the UIF. Landis is coming off a phenomenal performance against Peoria where he had two interceptions, one that was returned for a touchdown, and he accounted for 6 tackles.

Sioux Falls is at home on Saturday, June 17, when the Sioux City Bandits invade the "Storm Shelter". The game is sponsored by Coleman Heating and Cooling and we will be celebrating Father's Day as the first 1,000 men in attendance will receive a Storm Hat. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 PM with doors opening at 6:00 PM. At halftime, the Storm will retire the jersey of former wide receiver Corey Walker. Walker is the Storm's first offensive player to have his jersey retired. Individual game tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Arena Box Office or any Ticketmaster outlet.
